Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of HuntCraft, the app and this website, made by Whittier Technologies LLC ("we"). By creating an account or using HuntCraft, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how to delete it.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 to use HuntCraft.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account.

Checklists, scores and advice

Checklists, readiness scores, caliber guidance, fitness scores and AI suggestions are a starting point to help you prepare, not a guarantee that you're ready or safe, and not legal advice. Hunting is dangerous: you're responsible for your own safety and decisions, and for knowing and following the laws, seasons, licenses and rules where you hunt. Always check your state's regulations.

What you share

You own what you add: your gear, photos, messages and the rest. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you choose (for example, your circles), only to run HuntCraft. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual or that isn't yours to share, and don't impersonate anyone or spam. You can report a message, photo or person, and block someone, from inside the app; we review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Gear picks and other sites

Product picks link to retailers' sites, which have their own terms and prices, and some links earn us a commission (see our affiliate disclosure). We don't sell products and aren't responsible for retailers, their products or their sites. Prices we show are approximate.

Paid features

Some features may need a paid subscription. When subscriptions are offered, they're bought and managed through the App Store under Apple's terms, and the price and what's included are shown before you buy.

Using HuntCraft fairly

Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of HuntCraft (for example, AI scan allowances), access other people's data, or copy the app or its checklists to build a competing product. We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.

Changes and availability

We keep improving HuntCraft, so features change and may sometimes be unavailable. We may update these terms; when we make important changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.

No warranty; limits on liability

HuntCraft is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Whittier Technologies LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for injury, loss or damage that comes from relying on checklists, scores or suggestions, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about them or HuntCraft will be handled in the state or federal courts in Utah, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
